Kevin Li

Founder, President 2017-2018

Yale University, 2023

Kevin is a senior at Yale University from Vancouver BC, Canada. He intends to pursue a career in law, and majors in History on the Politics, Law and Government track. Outside of his course work, Kevin studies classical voice, and will be performing a lead role in the upcoming opera “La Doriclea” produced by the Yale Baroque Opera Project. Kevin currently serves as the president of Yale Rotaract Club and the wardrobe manager of the Yale Glee Club. In the past few summers he has worked as a research assistant and at corporate internships. In his free time, he also teaches history and political philosophy. As President, Kevin is currently leading a new international project to combat the mental illness crisis in Malaysia. Partnering with ThriveWell (a Malaysian mental health clinic), New Haven Rotary, and Rotary Malaysia district D3300, Yale Rotaract aims to provide psychosocial trauma intervention training to mental health practitioners and paraprofessionals in Malaysia, with a minimum fundraising goal of $30,000. Coming Soon.

Jimmy Wang

President 2022-2023 | Advisor

TBD

A rising senior at Southpointe Academy, Jimmy is beyond ecstatic to have served as the club president of VCRI and current youth advisor. Ever since attending his first meeting as a shy grade 9 he has become deeply immersed within the whirlwind of enriching experiences offered by Interact - from service learning to social activities to international awareness. As president, his main goal was to create a thriving community where everyone could apply their unique skillsets to making a meaningful difference in their community. Outside of Rotary, you can find him attempting to draw, playing basketball, or watching yet another anime show (recommendations needed!).
